The haunted pub crawl in Flagstaff, Arizona
There is one, and this is it. What makes it a haunted crawl, not a bar theme
This is not a bar crawl with a spooky sticker on it. The stories come first: original research by co-founder and published local author Susan Johnson, told on the blocks where the events happened. The Southside was Flagstaff's red-light district for decades, with a paper trail of taxes, ordinances and one 1916 case nobody solved. The bars are the punctuation.
Guests keep saying the same two things in reviews: the guides, and the mix. History you can verify in newspaper archives, rooms you can drink in today, and a walk of about a mile holding it together.
How it runs
Two ways. Most nights the crawl books as a private experience: your group of up to 16 picks the date, quoted per group from $400. A few times a year a night opens to the public at $55 per person, booked seat by seat on our TripWorks calendar.
The next public night is Friday, October 30, 2026, 6 to 8 PM, 16 seats.
Not your kind of night?
The family has three other ways to walk this town after dark. The all-ages Flagstaff Ghost Tour runs nightly downtown, Mountain Town of Madness is the 18+ tour on Friday and Saturday nights, and the Southside Haunted History Tour walks these same blocks without the bar stops, by private booking. Same storytellers, different nights.
